Today there is a great and growing interest in 'adult' animation, such as The Simpsons, South Park, Wallace & Gromit and Beavis & Butthead.  For every two or three people who enjoy watching animated films there's at least one other who wants to know how it's done and how to do it.  Many of those who enjoy cartoon drawing also want to know how to take their drawings a few steps further - in other words, how to make them move.  There are very few basic books on drawing animated cartoons around.
